President and CEO
Dennis Meiman Jr.
President/ Chief Executive Officer
Dennis has worked for Schardein Mechanical since 1986. Beginning as a field laborer, Dennis has worked his way up though the company and has served in a variety of management positions. He became Schardein’s president in 2008. Dennis holds a BA in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University and is a license holder in Certified Healthcare Contracting, Kentucky State Boilers and HVAC Masters.
Chief Financial Officer
Gary Sipes
CFO
Gary joined Schardein Mechanical in 2010. Prior to coming on board, he spent 25 years in accounting and controller positions with firms in the central Kentucky area. Gary’s experience also includes CFO responsibilities for two large construction firms. He holds a BSBA degree from the University of Louisville and is a member of the AICPA and KYSCPA.

Dennis has 45 years of industry experience and has worked for Schardein Mechanical since 1986. In addition to helping Schardein provide quality solutions for their customers, Dennis has served on the Governor’s State Plumbing Code Commission for nine years and has been an instructor in the plumbing apprenticeship program for the past 28 years. He is also a license holder with the Journeyman Plumbers of Kentucky, Master Plumbers of Kentucky and Indiana, Kentucky State Boilers and the Journeyman HVAC of Kentucky.

Rocky Nardi
Vice President of Operations
- Process Piping, Mechanical, and Plumbing
Rocky joined Schardein in 1996. He was born and raised in Louisville and lives here with his wife and three daughters. Rocky is a master pipefitter and has taught pipefitting at the Pipefitter Training Center for the past eight years. He is also a member of the JATC, a certified rigging administrator, and holds five welding certifications.
